<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate exposure setting for a main object in a subject captured.SOLUTION: Image data acquisition means 1 acquires the image data 6, e.g., a through-image, for a subject 4 at a setting exposure 5. Clip means 2 clips the region 7 of a main object in a subject 4 from the image data 6 thus acquired. Exposure control means 3 controls the image data acquisition means 1 and the clip means 2 to repeat acquisition of the image data 6 and clipping of the region 7 of a main object by changing the setting exposure 5. The setting exposure 5 when the area of the region 7 of a main object thus clipped is maximum is determined as the exposure 8 for the subject. Processing for capturing the actual high resolution image data of a subject thus determined is executed under the exposure 8.</p> |
