a light-receiving area that receives light from outside; a plurality of pixels that are arranged to form one or more pixel rows in the light-receiving area; a non-light-receiving area that does not receive the light from outside, and that is provided so as to be adjacent to the light-receiving area; a plurality of light-receiving elements each provided respectively in each of the pixels, and that generates a charge for each of the pixels according to an amount of received light; and a plurality of pixel circuits each arranged so as to be respectively adjacent to each of the pixels in the non-light-receiving area, and operates respectively so as to derive the charge generated by each of the plurality of light-receiving elements. |
