An apparatus for improving driving performance of a driving vehicle is provided. The apparatus for improving driving performance of a driving vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention can recognize an obstacle. The apparatus comprises: an air flow generating unit blowing air to the obstacle; a shape change determining unit determining whether a shape of the obstacle is being changed; and a control unit controlling the driving vehicle, wherein the control unit controls the driving vehicle to pass through the obstacle when a shape of the obstacle is being changed or to bypass the obstacle when a shape of the obstacle is not being changed.
