Disclosed are a mobile-based smart order system and a method thereof. The mobile-based smart order system according to the present invention includes: a smart order main system which provides product or service information synchronized to a POS system in a store in a market through connection with a mobile device executing a smart order application in the market, and receives order information from the mobile device and transmits the received order information to the POS system; and a PNS system which transmits order processing state information as to the order information to the mobile device of an ordering customer according to the request of the POS system by push notification. The order information includes identification information of the ordering customer and information about the selected product or service. The order information may further include seat information of the ordering customer.
