A monopod apparatus is disclosed. The disclosed monopod apparatus comprises: a main leg; a connecting member disposed on the main leg; a first and a second auxiliary leg; and a grip portion. The main leg, the first and the second auxiliary leg are supported by one another in a triangular pyramid shape to support a camera, and a camera or a handle is detachably mounted as the grip portion on the upper end of the main leg or the connecting member. According to the monopod apparatus capable of being used as a tripod in the present invention, the first and the second auxiliary leg are connected to the upper part of the main leg to minimize vibration. In addition, the auxiliary legs can be separated to lessen the weight of the apparatus, thereby enabling a user to readily carry the apparatus when moving. In particular, when climbing up the mountains for photographing, a user can attach a handle to the upper end of the main leg to use the same as a walking stick. Furthermore, the main leg is screw-coupled to the first and the second auxiliary leg, thereby simplifying the structure thereof to allow low production costs. |
