detecting one or more shorted electrodes included in a plurality of electrodes included in the auditory prosthesis system,disabling the one or more shorted electrodes, andremapping frequencies associated with the one or more shorted electrodes to one or more non-shorted electrodes included in the plurality of electrodes. |
