The present invention relates to a cover for a cooking container and, more specifically, to a cover for a cooking container, in which oil can be prevented from spattering and scattering to the outside of the cooking container, and steam generated during cooking can be actively discharged, so a tasty menu which is not damp can be prepared and a cooking state of a food can be visually confirmed while a cover is covered. The cover for a cooking container according to the present invention comprises: a body including a circumference unit being in contact with an upper circumference of the cooking container, a central unit disposed inside of the circumference unit, and a slope groove unit formed between the circumference unit and the central unit, and having a vertical cross-sectional shape downwardly protruding in a V or U shape; and a handle formed in the body. Multiple discharge holes are formed in a surface of the slope groove unit near to the circumference unit to discharge vapor generated when food is cooked. |
