The present invention relates to an ultraviolet ray blocking particle, a cosmetic composition for blocking an ultraviolet ray and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to an ultraviolet ray blocking particle which has a significantly improved sun protection factor (SPF) than a conventional ultraviolet ray blocking particle, a cosmetic composition for blocking an ultraviolet ray which effectively blocks the ultraviolet ray comprising the same and a manufacturing method thereof.
