The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating autoimmune diseases and, more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating autoimmune diseases, containing Dab2-overexpressing semi-mature dendritic cells. The composition in accordance with the present invention contains semi-mature dendritic cells, in which a Dab2 gene is overexpressed or Dab2 protein activity is increased, as an active ingredient. The semi-mature dendritic cells inhibit antigen-specific effector T cell proliferation, suppress inflammatory cytokine expression, and increase the proportion of effector T cells for expressing and regulating anti-inflammatory cytokine. Therefore, the present invention is expected to be effectively used as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating autoimmune diseases including arthritis. |
