1. A hepatic targeted nanoparticle comprising an anticancer agent and a carrier comprising a polysaccharide and polyethylene glycol (PEG)-glycyrrhetinic acid (GA)
wherein the nanoparticle is prepared by a process comprising (a) modifying diamino-PEG with glycyrrhetinic acid (GA) to obtain a GA-modified PEG (PEG-GA); (b) physically mixing the PEG-GA with the polysaccharide to obtain a polysaccharide/PEG-GA; and (c) loading an anticancer agent to the polysaccharide/PEG-GA with an ion cross-linker to obtain the nanoparticle. |
