An electro-static protection component comprises: a body comprising a plurality of stacked insulating layers; a coil arranged in the body; and an ESD suppressor which is arranged in the body to be arranged with the coil along a stacking direction of the insulating layers. The ESD suppressor includes: a first and a second discharge electrode which are arranged as being separated with each other; and a discharge causing part which encounters the first and the second discharge electrode to connect facing parts of the first and the second discharge electrode, and contains metallic particles. The first and the second discharge electrode are located at the side of the coil rather than the discharge causing part, from the viewpoint of the stacking direction of the insulating layers. The body has a cavity part located to cover the whole discharge causing part from the viewpoint of the coil side toward the stacking direction. The cavity part encounters the facing parts in the first and the second discharge electrode and the discharge causing part.
