APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EXAMINING EXISTENCE OF SPACER WITHIN CAMERA LENS MODULE

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for examining presence of a spacer within a camera lens module, which automatically examines presence of a spacer within a camera lens module to shorten a required time for examination and improve examination reliability. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: a lens barrel in which multiple camera lens modules are sequentially mounted; a storage unit storing a reference pattern for determining presence of a spacer; a photographing unit sequentially photographing each of the camera lens modules mounted on the lens barrel; an image processing unit comparing an image photographed by the photographing unit with the reference pattern stored in the storage unit to determine whether a spacer of the camera lens module is mounted or not; and a display unit displaying presence or absence of the spacer according to the result of determination by the image processing unit.
