PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress flooding of multicast packets.SOLUTION: A network system includes: a plurality of first communication devices for performing multicast routing; and a plurality of second communication devices for performing connection between the plurality of first communication devices and transferring, from a port other than a reception port, a multicast packet. Each of the plurality of second communication devices comprises: a first storage unit for storing a reception port for a request for participating in a multicast group transmitted from any device of the plurality of first communication devices, as a transfer port for a multicast packet of the multicast group; and a transfer unit for transferring the multicast packet of the multicast group from the transfer port of ports included in the second communication device. |
