PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data erasure support application program and data erasure support device capable of confirming presence or absence of data, and erasure of data in the same operational procedure, regardless of the difference of the model and operation system of a portable terminal.SOLUTION: A data erasure support application program makes a portable terminal function to read the information about the model thereof and the version of an operation system, to identify the storage destination of predetermined data stored in the portable terminal corresponding to the information thus read, and to display a data erasure instruction button, for allowing instruction of the presence or absence of predetermined data stored in the storage destination thus identified, and the erasure thereof on a screen. |
