PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of data transmitted to a printer from a control device.SOLUTION: A host computer 1 includes: a storage section for storing a calculation value calculated by a prescribed formula for a block obtained by sectioning comparison image data; and a host control section 45 for calculating a calculation value by the prescribed formula for a block obtained by sectioning print image data as image data of an image to be printed by an ink jet printer 5, comparing the calculating values between the corresponding blocks of the comparison image data and the print image data, and transmitting to the ink jet printer 5 the image data of a block among the blocks of the print image data, whose calculation value is different from that of the corresponding block of the comparison image data. |
