PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member which can inhibit foreign objects such as earth and sand, ice, and snow from entering from an opening part, into which a rod member of a cross member is inserted, and can inhibit deformation of the opening part.SOLUTION: A cover member 11 is provided in a cross member of a vehicle, in which a rod member is inserted from an opening part 5 and is connected so as to swing, and closes a gap between the rod member and the opening part 5 to block foreign objects from entering into the cross member. The cover member 11 includes: a cover body 17 having a cylindrical fitting part 16 which fits in a through hole 15 in which the rod member is inserted and the opening part 5; and an intermediate member 18 which is embedded in the fitting part 16 of the cover body 17, has rigidity higher than the cover body 17, and reinforces the fitting part 16. |
