PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folded type thermal printhead improved in efficiency and response.SOLUTION: A thermal printhead is provided with a heating resistor having such a U-shape as to connect a pair of conventional folded type heating resistors to make a peak temperature in a heating region higher than that of the conventional folded type one. Then, a heat-dissipating part is mounted with a space to the heating resistor so as to rapidly dissipate heat generated by the heating resistor. Thus, the folded type thermal printhead enables improvement in efficiency and response. |
