PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film having excellent gas barrier properties (especially water vapor barrier properties) capable of satisfying the required level of electronic component applications, excellent flex resistance and long-term preservability.SOLUTION: There is provided a gas barrier film 5 in which a metal oxide layer is provided on a film substrate 1. In the gas barrier film 5, the metal oxide layer is formed by providing a vapor deposition layer 2 of a metal oxide, a first barrier coating layer 3 composed mainly of a polymer having a specific silazane skeleton and a second barrier coating layer 4 composed mainly of a metal oxide polymer made of a specific metal alkoxide in this order. |
