PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement high-speed and high-accuracy safety discrimination even in the case where a plurality of oscillation modes at near oscillation frequencies are simultaneously present, by classifying oscillation information that is calculated by using measurement information, while using a distance between measuring spots that is calculated by using spot information.SOLUTION: A system stability monitoring device for monitoring system stability of a power system includes: a measurement information collection section for collecting measurement information at a plurality of spots in the power system; an oscillation analysis section for calculating the oscillation information representing oscillation in a system state at the plurality of spots while using the measurement information; an information storage section for storing spot information including positional information of the plurality of spots; and an oscillation classification section for classifying the oscillation information on the basis of the spot information. |
