The present invention relates to minimization of drive test (MDT) technology and, more specifically, to a method and an apparatus, by which a terminal within a cell measures and reports a quality of a signal. The method by which a terminal performs MDT operation according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving first configuration information for the MDT operation from a base station; applying the first configuration information to perform the MDT operation; receiving second configuration information from the base station; and applying either the first or the second configuration information according to comparison results obtained by comparing the first configuration information with the second configuration information to perform the MDT operation. |
