PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat ray shielding resin sheet material exhibiting excellent ray shielding properties while using a thermoplastic resin, an automobile mounted with the heat ray shielding resin sheet material as a window material and a building mounted with the heat ray shielding resin sheet material as a window material.SOLUTION: Provided is a heat ray shielding resin sheet material comprising: a composite tungsten oxide fine particles; a selective wavelength absorption material; and a thermoplastic resin, in which the selective wavelength absorption material has a transmission profile that, when the transmission coefficient of light with a wavelength of 550 nm is 90% or higher and also the transmission coefficient of light with a wavelength of 460 nm is 90% or higher, the transmission coefficient of light with a wavelength of 420 nm is 40% or lower.
