PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step for making an occupant get on and off a vehicle, which can achieve a structure for housing a movable footboard in synchronization with a slide door closing operation, at a low cost and in a space-saving manner.SOLUTION: A step for making an occupant get on and off a vehicle includes: a rotary footboard 6 capable of moving between an expansion position and a storage position; a roller 16 that is provided at a vehicle-outside end 7 of the rotary footboard 6; and a bracket 18 that is provided in a side slide door 17 and that moves the rotary footboard 6 to the storage position from the expansion position by pushing the roller 16 to a vehicle-interior side when the side slide door 17 is closed. |
