PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle detaching device which can secure retention of a passenger by means of a seat belt and, at the same time, can detach a buckle by an external operation when the buckle is held between a seat and a vehicle interior component and a tongue is difficult to detach.SOLUTION: A buckle detaching device includes: a buckle 25 and a stay member 26 which are arranged between a seat 7 and a vehicle interior component 19; a support structure part 42 which detachably supports the stay member on a seat frame 13; and a detaching mechanism part 44 which detaches the buckle. Therein, the support structure part includes a support shaft 46 of which one end side is supported so as to permit insertion to the seat frame and the other end side is inserted to the stay member, a restraint part 48 which restrains the stay member to the support shaft and a restraint release part 55 which releases the restraint of the restraint part in accordance with access of the buckle to the vehicle interior component due to sheet deformation upon lateral surface collision, and the detaching mechanism part has a drawer mechanism part 60 which draws out the support shaft to the vehicle interior component side by external operation when collision occurs between the buckle and the vehicle interior component. |
