PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal-material sheet for solar battery modules, which is composed of a seal-material sheet primarily made of a polyethylene-based resin subjected to a crosslink processing by exposure to ionizing radiation, and which enables the effective utilization of ultraviolet light of UVA region, and is superior in durability against adhesion with glass.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a seal-material sheet for solar battery modules comprises: a sheet-forming step for melting and molding a seal-material composition including a base resin consisting of a polyethylene-based resin having a density of 0.870-0.940 g/cm, and not A-wave UV absorber, but a low-wavelength wave UV absorber having a maximum absorption wavelength in a wavelength region of 280-250 nm, of which the absorbance in a UVA wavelength region of 315-400 nm is 0 into an uncrosslinked seal-material sheet; and a crosslinking step for performing a crosslinking process on the uncrosslinked seal-material sheet by exposure to ionizing radiation to obtain a crosslinked seal-material sheet. |
