PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively producing a hot-dip Zn-Al-Mg coated cold rolled steel sheet having little coating defect.SOLUTION: A production method for a hot-dip Zn-Al-Mg coated cold rolled steel sheet is provided in which a cold rolled steel sheet obtained by cold rolling a hot rolled steel sheet is annealed, then subjected to the hot-dip Zn-Al-Mg cladding. In the production method, the cold rolling is performed by using cold rolling oil containing no sulfide ester. Moreover, the cold rolling oil preferably contains: at least one kind of base oil, which is selected from the group composed of animal-vegetable oil, mineral oil and a synthetic ester other than sulfide ester; and a cationic surfactant. |
