PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided coating apparatus that can uniformly coat a base material with a coating liquid by stabilizing a distance between a nozzle and the base material, and to provide a double-sided coating method and a double-sided coating film formation system incorporating the double-sided coating apparatus.SOLUTION: A non-coated section is made independent of a transportation path of a base material by first pinch rollers 71, 71 and second pinch rollers 72, 72, tensile force acting on the base material 5 in the non-coated section is set to be lower than tensile force acting on the base material 5 in the non-coated section by a dancer roll 73. A coating liquid is discharged to the base material 5 turned easily movable due to sagging produced by low tension on both front and rear faces from the first coating nozzle 20 and the second coating nozzle 40, and a position of the base material 5 passing between the first coating nozzle 20 and the second coating nozzle 40 is adjusted by a balance of discharge pressures of both.
