PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the concentration of hydrocarbon included in a reformed gas at the outlet of a fuel reformer, to increase the concentration of hydrogen, and further, to suppress deterioration in a reforming catalyst filled into a reforming chamber.SOLUTION: Provided is a fuel reformer 1 comprising: a reforming chamber 12 of reforming a fuel gas to generate a reformed gas containing hydrogen; and drifting parts (the through holes 18, 19 of partition walls 16, 17). The drift parts drift fuel gas in such a manner that, compared with the flow rate of the fuel gas flowing through a relatively low temperature region (low temperature region CR) in the reforming chamber 12, the flow rate of the fuel gas flowing through a relatively high temperature region (high temperature region HR) in the reforming chamber 12 is made high. |
