PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the amount of image data for test pattern image formation to be stored by an image formation device.SOLUTION: An image formation device forms a test pattern image on a sheet in order to adjust the discharge timing of ink droplets. The test pattern image has a plurality of pattern component rows in a main scanning direction in a sub-scanning direction being a sheet conveyance direction. The image data indicating the test pattern image comprises the common pattern image data and plural symbol image data. The common pattern image data indicates one row of the pattern components. The i-th symbol image data indicates one row of the symbol (identification number of the pattern component) formed adjacently to the i-th row pattern component. The image formation device makes a recording head carry out the discharge operation of the ink droplets based on the i-th symbol image data and the common pattern image data every arrival of the sheet to plural formation devices (the i-th formation position) in the sub-scanning direction. |
