PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for a can lid, excellent in strength, formability and can openability.SOLUTION: There is provided the aluminum alloy sheet for a can lid, composed of Mg:3.8 to 5.5 mass%, Fe:0.1 to 0.5 mass%, Si:0.05 to 0.3 mass%, Mn:0.01 to 0.6 mass% and Cu:0.01 to 0.3 mass% or less and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. In the aluminum alloy sheet, a ratio between X-ray diffraction strength from a (200) face of a sheet surface I(200) and X-ray diffraction strength from a (220) face I(220), I(200)/I(220) is less than 0.6. A can openability can be improved by the aluminum alloy sheet without decreasing formability. |
