PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately prevent the malfunction of a process control system due to the erroneous input of an operator.SOLUTION: An erroneous input prevention device according to one aspect of the invention is configured to prevent the erroneous input of an operator. The erroneous input prevention device includes: an area setting part for setting at least one or more areas for inhibiting the input of an operator in a range in which the operator is able to input the set value of process equipment; an area change part for changing at least one of the set position, set range and set number of the area in the range in which the operator is able to input the set value; and an input determination part for determining whether to permit the input of the operator. The input determination part inhibits the input of the operator when the operator executes the input of the set value in the area.
