PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably achieve static elimination of a recording material in the vicinity of a fixing nip without causing abnormal images and a deterioration in the life of components.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a fixing member that applies heat and pressure to a toner image electrostatically transferred onto a recording material; a pressure member that is in contact with the fixing member to form a fixing nip; a roller pair that hold and convey a sheet ejected from the fixing nip and include a first conveyance roller in contact with the fixed toner image and a second conveyance roller in contact with the first conveyance roller; a first static elimination member in contact with a mold release layer of the pressure member; and a second static elimination member in contact with the second conveyance roller, where the pressure member and the second conveyance roller each have a conductive mold release layer on the surface layer. |
