PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper facilitating determination of a front side or a rear side.SOLUTION: An absorbent article having a longitudinal direction and a crosswise direction crossing the longitudinal direction includes: an absorbent body provided along the longitudinal direction and absorbing excrement; an abdominal side belt member provided along the crosswise direction, and having a central part in the crosswise direction fixed to one end part while covering the one end part in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body from the non-skin side of the absorbent body; and a back side belt member provided along the crosswise direction as a different member from the abdominal side belt member, and having a central part in the crosswise direction fixed to the other end part while covering the other end part in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body from the non-skin side of the absorbent body. A length in the longitudinal direction of the back side belt member is longer than a length in the longitudinal direction of the abdominal side belt member. Elastic members expanding and contracting along the crosswise direction are arranged at the abdominal side belt member and the back side belt member respectively, and in at least one part where the abdominal side belt member and the absorbent body are overlapped, there is a portion where the elastic member is cut. |
