PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-shielding ink that can form films within a short period and control reflectance characteristics for obtaining accurate characteristics for a light-shielding film.SOLUTION: There is provided a light-shielding ink for a lens optical element for forming a light-shielding film on the peripheral part of a lens, the light-shielding ink contains a light-shielding material shielding visible light and a light-curable material in which curing is started by irradiation of light including ultraviolet rays or heating, where the reflectance generated on the interface between the light-shielding film and the lens is made 0.1% or less.
