PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating method of a blast furnace reducing wear and tear of a copper stave of the blast furnace.SOLUTION: An operation method of a blast furnace includes: a step of calculating normal stress from in-pile to a wall surface on the basis of bullet plasticity theory, and determining a point where the normal stress is the biggest in the blast furnace; a step of calculating a shape of a welding band in the blast furnace from a mathematical model using physical distribution, reaction and heat transfer of raw materials in the blast furnace, and furnace gas distribution of temperature and gas composition measured at upper probe of the blast furnace; and a step of making a position of inferior base of the welding band in a position upper than the point where the normal stress is the biggest. |
