The present invention relates to a method of a mobile terminal for providing location-based surrounding information of a mobile terminal by using a search message providing system including the mobile terminal, connected to the network, and a search information providing server. The method includes: a steps of the search information providing server for receiving a message from the mobile terminal; (b) a step for connecting the mobile terminal to URL corresponding to a brand name, if the received message is the brand name; (c) providing search information for a designated service word by checking whether the message includes the designated service word if the message is not the brand name; (d) providing search information for a local area name by checking whether the message includes a local area name if the message does not include the designated service word; and (e) providing search information for location information by including the location information set in the message if the message does not include the local area name; and (f) connecting the mobile terminal to a designated search server if the search information for the location information does not exist in the message. The message includes at least one medium of multimedia from a keyboard, voice, a barcode, a QR code, or an image.
