PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily performing a setting operation of a network connection between a gateway unit and a short-range radio communication device apparatus by expanding a functionality of a specific gateway unit.SOLUTION: In the case where a device apparatus 12 is shared between a plurality of gateway unit 10, a request source gate unit on which a pairing operation is not performed transmits a device switching request of an application execution device to a request destination gateway unit that has communication setting with the application execution device, in order to provide the request destination gateway unit with a communication from the request source gateway unit to the application execution device. The request source gateway unit performs a setting change for establishing the communication defining the request destination gateway unit as a virtual device of application execution, and the request destination gateway unit performs a setting change for establishing a communication path to the request source gateway unit in such a manner that the request destination gateway unit per se is the application execution device, and transferring a received signal to the application execution device as it is.
