PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of efficiently manufacturing a metal ring from a rod-like long size metallic raw material.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a metal ring of the present invention is composed of a winding process of forming in a cylindrical shape by winding the metallic raw material in a spiral shape, a cutting process of manufacturing a plurality of slender intermediate raw materials laterally arranged side by side by cutting the metallic raw material wound in the spiral shape by the winding process in the parallel direction to the central axis of a cylindrical shape in a position of proper one place of a cylindrical surface shape, an end surface positioning process of forming the respective intermediate raw materials in a ring shape by laterally transferring a cutting surface by at least the one cutting process along the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical surface shape to the plurality of intermediate raw materials and a joining process of forming as the metal ring by endlessly joining respective both end parts of the plurality of intermediate raw materials of becoming the ring shape. |
