PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion joint device for the ceiling capable of easily adjusting an attitude of a ceiling board or a position in the vertical direction.SOLUTION: An expansion joint device 1 for the ceiling includes a ceiling board 11 for blocking up a clearance 3 between ceiling structures 5a and 5b, a parting material 15 installed in a side edge part 11b of the ceiling board 11 and suspension means 20 for suspending the ceiling board 11, and the parting material 15 comprises a covering part 15a for covering the side edge part 11b and a guide part 15c for forming a storage space S together with the covering part 15a, and the suspension means 20 comprises a cable 21 for fixing one end part 21a to the ceiling structure 5a, a shaft part 24a held by the parting material 15 and connected with the other end part 21b of the cable 21 and a head part 24b operated by an operation tool 7, and comprises a bolt 24 for increasing-decreasing a distance between the one end part 21a of the cable 21 and the parting material 15 when the head part 24b is operated, and the guide part 15c is formed with a through-hole 15c5 capable of inserting the operation tool 7, and the head part 24b is arranged in the storage space S so as to be operable by the operation tool 7 inserted into the through-hole 15c5. |
