PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film capable of suppressing an interlayer shift of a polarizer constituting the optical film caused by a contraction stress.SOLUTION: The optical film includes a laminate in which a substrate 11, a vertical alignment film 12, and an optical functional layer 13 comprising a liquid crystal material with a fixed alignment by the alignment regulating force of the vertical alignment film 12 are stacked in this order. The vertical alignment film 12 comprises a binder resin and an acrylic monomer; and the binder resin has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 80°C or higher.
