PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolytic solution which enables the reduction in the quantity of gas generated in a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery and the suppression of the drop in the capacity thereof when the battery in a state of being charged is stored at a high temperature, especially the reduction in gas generated by a reaction of a positive electrode and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution in the state of a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery being charged.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolytic solution for nonaqueous electrolytic secondary batteries comprises an electrolyte and a nonaqueous solvent for dissolving the electrolyte as primary components, and a compound expressed by the general formula (1).
