PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refining tank for suppressing quality degradation of glass melt, a glass article manufacturing apparatus equipped with the refining tank, and a glass article manufacturing method using the refining tank.SOLUTION: An aspect of a refining tank of the present invention is represented by a refining tank having a flow passage for glass melt, which is made of refractory bricks and extends in one direction. The flow passage has a polygonal flow passage part whose cross section is a hexagon or other polygonal shapes with more than six sides. The polygonal flow passage part comprises a bottom surface, a first side surface perpendicular to the bottom surface, and a second side surface perpendicular to the bottom surface and opposing to the first side surface. A dimension from a lower end of the first side surface to the bottom surface in a normal direction of the bottom surface is equal to a dimension from a lower end of the second side surface to the bottom surface in the normal direction of the bottom surface.
