PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which sets a lock time in accordance with a use state of the portable terminal, a control method of the portable terminal, and a control program for the portable terminal.SOLUTION: The portable terminal includes: an operation section in which an input operation is performed by a user; a use state determination section for determining the use state of the portable terminal; a lock time setting section for setting a lock time that is a time from the execution of the input operation to setting of an input restriction for restricting the input operation in accordance with the determined use state; a timer section for counting the lapse of time from the execution of the input operation; and an input restriction setting section which sets the input restriction for restricting the input operation when the lapse of time reaches the lock time.
