PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a bending load applied to an output shaft and make facing each other of an input shaft and an output shaft simple when assembling a steering device.SOLUTION: The steering device comprises: an input shaft 161; an output shaft 162; a torsion bar 27 that connects the input shaft to the output shaft and can be twisted; a rotation regulating part that is provided at an overlapping part of the input shaft and the output shaft and regulates a relative rotatable range of the input shaft and the output shaft; a steering arm 161; and a stopper 162. The steering arm 161 comprises a hole for an output shaft into which an output shaft 22 is fitted, two holes 172 for tie rods to which tie rods 8 are attached respectively and two abutting surfaces 176 which are abutted on the stopper 162. The stopper comprises two abutting surfaces 186, where an angle &thetas;st1 formed by two contacting surfaces of the stopper is larger than an angle &thetas;ar1 formed by the two abutting surfaces of the steering arm and equal to 90° or more. |
