PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental load reduction device that enables environmentally considerate construction work when pile driving and drilling are involved.SOLUTION: An environmental load reduction device has shielding means 1 with at least either the soundproofing function or the excavation muck scattering prevention function, a wire for hanging the shielding means 1 underneath a guide member 31, and a winch 5 for raising and lowering the shielding means 1. The guide member 31 guides a drilling device and a pile and other materials. The shielding means 1 may be a screen-like shielding sheet, or composed of a tubular accordion-like structure. The shielding means 1 shown as an example has a telescopic tubular accordion-like structure, and is separable or may be opened and closed for facilitating removal. During construction work, a drilling device and pile materials are inserted through the guide member 31 and the shielding means 1, and pile driving and drilling are performed while hanging the shielding means so that the lower edge side of the shielding means comes close to the ground surface. This way, the soundproofing function and/or scattering prevention function become effective, thereby enabling environmentally considerate construction work. |
