PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to prevent skew and deformation of a belt.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a conveyance belt 73 stretched between a drive roller and a driven roller 72; and an outside regulation section 220 which is arranged one side in a rotation axis direction of the driven roller 72, and faces a belt end face 113 so as to be brought into contact with the belt end face 113 of the conveyance belt 73. The conveyance belt 73 includes a projection 120 which protrudes from a position spaced by a predetermined distance D1 from the belt end face 113, in an inner peripheral surface 111 of the conveyance belt 73, and is continuously extended along a circumferential direction of the conveyance belt 73. The outside regulation section 220 includes an auxiliary regulation section 222 which protrudes toward a rotation axial inside of the driven roller 72 so as to face an outside end face 122 of the projection 120, and is continuously extended along a rotation direction of the driven roller 72. The amount of projection D2 of the auxiliary regulation section 222 is smaller than the predetermined distance D1. |
