PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress program correction in a case of using different character code schemes.SOLUTION: An execution control device 10 detects character processing for a character type variable by a program 13 using the character type variable for allocating a first area in which character codes of a certain length can be stored on a memory 11 to each of one or two or more characters, and secures a second area on the memory 11 to correspond to the first area for each character in response to detection of the character processing for the character type variable. The execution control device 10 processes characters expressed by character codes at lengths larger than the certain length using the first and second areas secured on the memory 11. |
