PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission control device capable of controlling an automatic transmission with a continuously variable transmission mechanism making a manual shift selectable so as to ensure a sensible shift feeling during acceleration and upshifting.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission control device capable of controlling a continuously variable transmission mechanism to execute a manual mode for shifting gears step by step in response to an input shift signal and outputting a torque reduction signal for reducing a driving torque of an engine during gear shifting, outputs the torque reduction signal for reducing the driving torque of the engine so as to cancel an inertial torque acting on an input shaft of the continuously variable transmission during a change in a transmission gear ratio (t3 to t5) and so as to reduce a vehicle driving force FDV to a vehicle driving force FDV2 after gear shifting before the end of gear shifting (t5) at a time of the gear shifting after an accelerator opening is equal to or higher than a threshold and a shift signal for upshifting is input.
