PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of surely preventing overcharge or overdischarge of a power storage device.SOLUTION: A power storage device pack comprises a chargeable/dischargeable secondary battery and a control unit which controls charging and discharging of the secondary battery. The secondary battery comprises a battery case 41, an electrode assembly housed in the battery case, and a negative electrode terminal 432 fixed to the battery case and electrically conducted with the electrode assembly. The secondary battery further includes a current cutoff device 60 arranged between the electrode assembly and a negative electrode terminal, and cuts off electric conduction between the electrode assembly and the negative electrode terminal according to the pressure in the battery case. The current cutoff device is arranged in the battery case, and includes a deformation plate 61 which deforms so as to cut off electric conduction between the electrode assembly and the negative electrode terminal when the pressure in the battery case becomes higher than or equal to a prescribed pressure value. The power storage pack further includes a strain gauge 12 for detecting deformation of the deformation plate. The control unit cuts off charging or discharging of the secondary battery on the basis of the detection by the strain gauge 12. |
