PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fat alternative composition capable of imparting fatty feeling, namely heavy body feeling carried by fat and palatability to a food product, as a substitute for fat, without feeling a foreign taste or a rough taste to the utmost.SOLUTION: A composition containing inulin and dextrin can impart fatty feeling to a food product as a substitute for fat.
