PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine component having high hardness, excellent in corrosion resistance and toughness and capable of being easily and inexpensively manufactured.SOLUTION: The machine component is formed from a Co-Cr-Mo-based alloy which contains C:0.5 to 5.0 mass%, Cr:26 to 35 mass%, Mo:5.0 to 7.0 mass% and inevitable impurities and the balance comprising substantially Co and in which fine carbide of Cr is uniformly dispersed. The Co-Cr-Mo-based alloy has a deposition of 10 μm or less in the structure. The machine component is formed by using a rapid prototyping process and using as a material, a Co-Cr-Mo-based alloy powder containing C:0.5 to 5.0 mass%, Cr:26 to 35 mass%, Mo:5.0 to 7.0 mass% with inevitable impurities and the balance comprising substantially Co. |
